Food glorious food!!
We’ve added a few new things to the menu and, honestly, some of them are going to make ordering harder than it needs to be.
The flat iron chicken has already got people talking, the lamb rump is properly good, and the peri peri chicken burger has exactly the right amount of kick after a pint or two.
There’s also:
• crispy onion bhajis to start
• a proper cheesy Cheddar soufflé
• the crispy chicken fillet burger for anyone arriving hungry
• a summer grain salad bowl if you’re trying to behave yourself
• and the roasted cauliflower, which sounds healthy until you realise how nice it is
Then there’s dessert…
The Cherry Bakewell cheesecake and the Jammie Dodger ice cream sandwich are making it very difficult to say “just the main for me”.
Menu’s on now — come give it a try. 🍻🍽️

What a lineup of beers we have!! 🍺🍻
On the pumps today we’ve got:
Theakston Best Bitter – a proper Yorkshire classic. Smooth, balanced, and easy drinking with a gentle bitter finish and subtle citrus and spice coming through.
Timothy Taylor’s Landlord – probably one of the most loved cask ales in the country for a reason. Pale amber, slightly fruity, with that signature soft malt sweetness and a clean hoppy finish.
Pennine Blazing Firefly – a lighter blonde ale with a crisp, refreshing finish
Yorkshire Heart Ghost Porter – darker, richer, and full of roasted malt flavour. Notes of coffee, chocolate and a little liquorice sweetness without being too heavy.
Four very different beers, all in great condition and ready to go. Hard to beat a line-up like that in a proper pub. 🍻
Which one are you starting with?
